How does it work?
The kit includes a set of two very powerful, variable rated coil
tension springs that when installed, support and assist the rear leaf
springs by holding them in there original (designed) bowed position.
When downward strain from load or vehicle weight shift is applied to
the leaf springs the stabilizing action of the Roadmaster Active
Suspension system comes into action immediately absorbing the forces
of
the load. Being variable rated, the greater the strain, the more
counter assistance force is applied from our active suspension
system.
Simple unique design, easily installed in about one hour. You will need minimal
tools a jack (trolley jack if available), jack

Hi Bob
Another summer gone by with a lot of miles put on the old Dodge. After the "May Madness" event I didn't get the suspension kit installed till about the middle of July. At this time we were getting ready for our grand tour to Alaska, which started July 21.
As for measurements the truck without the kit the rear would set down 5" with the camper on, with the kit installed the rear dropped only 3". Our camper loaded is about 2500 lbs.
We had one incident that was really scary, we were coming into Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Cruising along about 9 a.m. in the morning I noticed this SUV, Blazer starting to cross the centerline and not turning back, in the next instant half of the vehicle was across the centerline and heading right at us. My reaction: hit the horn, crank the steering wheel right and hope he didn't hit us and that we wouldn't roll over! At the last moment the other driver turned his steering wheel and we avoided a head on. I never lost control of the truck. That was to close for us but without the active suspension kit I can only imagine what might have happened.
The Roadmaster system does everything that your data talks about. I guess that about covers it for now, thanks again, you have a great product!

I just thought that I would take a minute to let you know how thrilled I am with the "Road Master Active Suspension System" that I purchased.
As you know I have worked as a traffic accident investigator for about fifteen years. During that time I have investigated several accidents that involved "sport utility" vehicles and drive one of my own. "Sport utility" vehicles have a reputation of being unstable and can have handling problems during sudden hazard avoidance maneuvers. These problems are primarily caused by tow problems inherent in the design:
1. Sport utility vehicles generally have a higher center of gravity than other passenger cars and trucks.
2. In sudden hazard avoidance situations, the weight of the vehicle transfers from one side of the vehicle to the other. This constant loading and unloading of the weight on the vehicles to the springs and shock absorbers is primary cause of handling problems that can lead to the loss of control and or vehicle roll over.
As soon as the "Road Master" system was installed on the rear leaf springs of my Yukon I noticed a tremendous improvement in the handling characteristics. Even while applying the maximum braking, I noticed that my Yukon was easily controlled and the weight transfer was less severe during avoidance maneuvers.
I would recommend that anyone that owns or is considering the purchase of a "sport utility" vehicle or a van should consider installing the Active Suspension system.
